A group of estranged childhood friends must put their midlife crises on hold and go on a high-stakes Halloween scavenger hunt to rescue their kidnapped buddy and finally right a wrong from their past.

On Halloween, a group of disconnected friends are tricked into a night of adult trick-or-treating by a phony terminal diagnosis from their friend Zach. But their fun is cut short when the ruse is exposed and they discover they're actually on a high-stakes scavenger hunt to save a kidnapped buddy from a vengeful old pal. Now, they must navigate their midlife crises, their ridiculous costumes, and their hilarious inability to be adults while they race against the clock to save him.
